Introduction

Let's start from the beginning. I'm going to introduce myself and why I believe that God entrusted me with The Metalcore Church (MXC). My name is Raymond Joey Hargreaves, 34, a Christian rock and metal enthusiast. The first concert I attended was like Sum41 and Chevelle at the Golden State Mall in Bakersfield. When I was 12 I started skateboarding everyday relentless playing Tony Hawk pro skater 1 and copying tricks from the game and practicing them on my skateboard. I grew up in Oildale a very racist, white majority, and poverty stricken part of Bakersfield. I remember being attacked in elementary school by white supremacists adults AKA the Woods for being half white half Mexican. My mom was very young when she had me and we basically grew up together. I started experimenting with marijuana around the same time. Both my parents smoked cigarettes, weed and other drugs in the house. They fought often my mom never married my real father so growing up both my parents were white and so we're my younger brother and sisters. My real father, some kind of Mexican Mafia member I never met from Fresno, threatened to harm my mother over child support when I was younger. I always had what I needed growing up but I never fit in socially with my peers due to financial hardships. Picked on and bullied was an understatement for growing up. My parents divorced and I ended up staying with my grandma, who bought me my first drum set, and got me into drum lessons at an early age. Formed my first garage band, Distant Image, and played along with the radio, KRAB radio 106.1, because I didn't own a metronome.
