The Venue

What exactly are we trying to do here? We are trying to get bands on tour to stop driving past Bakersfield entirely. Driving from LA along the 5 freeway and driving right past Bakersfield entirely to play their next show in Fresno. I just don't feel like there is an individual in this city who cares enough to try to meet the tour requirements. I think even the people who try to schedule shows here are scantlous like Oildale grimester scantlous with them and have caused them to completely disregard us as a stop on their tour. I’m not sure if bands didn't get paid or bands didn't get paid enough but they have not only ruled us out in Metalcore but on every genre of music. If we don't have a reasonable accommodation for bands to come perform then how can we even be on the list of stops. Let's provide a healthy environment for bands to come and play. A make sure that they get paid promptly and properly so they can spread that news to other tour schedulers.
